Celebrating over 35 years of Excellence in Education, Toran Navjeevan Secondary School was founded in 1986 as Navjeevan Primary English School. The school is located in the Lalitpur District and is situated in Lalitpur area. The chosen location of the school Outside Ringroad makes it suitable to serve the populated areas in Lalitpur City. From vision to reality, TNSS celebrates over 35 years of excellence in education. The school opened as a small school (Primary School) in a Jhamsikhel area with five students and with a big ambition and vision to reshape education for future years. Over the past 35 years, the school team and faculty have worked insistently to enhance and deliver quality.  In 1999 as a full-fledged SLC (School Leaving Certificate) adopting National Curriculum school with Outstanding SLC results.

In the history of TORAN SCHOOL, Former Navjeevan School, started with a dream and inspiration of Late Mr. Ishwor B. Gurung and a very charismatic lady Ms. Saroj Shrestha, who is the Founder Chairperson of the School, had a dream to establish a place for learning and impart wisdom from their own experiences of being a teacher for many years. With this inspiration, they took a very noble step and opened a school in 1986 in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.

Our legacy and gratefulness go to the hundreds of families and students who have contributed to the school’s name, its legacy, and its success to make it the Toran School it is now. As we move forward towards our first 25^th jublee celebration, we continue to confirm and instill the promise and vision of countless and unmatched opportunities for our learners and our community. School’s experienced faculty are more than just teachers, they are educators who truly believe in the value of what they are doing and take the task of education the youth of the country gracefully. Every passing year, the school has reached new heights and achieved excellent results.
